Can we count trust? I guess no as it’s an abstract noun then how do you rely on those you trust? How do you believe in something? How do you set the parameters of faith? Let’s understand the meaning of trust.

Trust can be defined as to have confidence, faith or hope in someone or something just like believing that the sun will rise in the morning or just as having faith that things will be better in the future. There is a very thin line between the words belief, faith and credence. Belief may or may not imply certitude in the believer. Faith almost always implies certitude even when there is no evidence or proof like an unshakeable faith in God.

Credence suggests intellectual assent without implying anything about grounds for assent. Credence means mental acceptance as true or real. क्रेडेंस (Credence) का सरल भाषा में अर्थ है विश्वास.

The aim in society is to have more trust but the aim to build trust is a cliché and instead what we need more is trustworthiness. We need to understand how to trust more intelligently based on the criteria of trustworthiness or you can say the parameters of credence. Sensible people want to place their trust where it is deserved. They want well-directed trust and mistrust. If we want others to trust us, the first step to be trustworthy is, it remains true that you can’t fool all the people all the time. The second step is to show that we are trustworthy: we have to provide enough intelligible evidence of competence, honesty and reliability in the relevant matters for others to reach an intelligent judgement. What matters for most people in judging where to place their trust is generally simpler? Most of us look for evidence of trustworthiness — of competence, honesty and reliability — in the relevant matters.

We trust politicians who speak straightforwardly, don’t promise what they can’t deliver, explain their policies and their difficulties with reasonable caution, and visibly try to deliver what they promise. We trust businesses that make accurate claims about their products, and offer usable complaints procedures when something goes wrong.

Credence is developed in the most realistic way when most of us cannot assess scientific claims or new technologies. In these complex cases we can place and refuse trust intelligently only by finding proxy evidence of trustworthiness since the complete evidence is too complicated for the less expert. Credence requires an intelligent judgement of trustworthiness. So those who want others trust have to do two things. First, they have to be trustworthy, which requires competence, honesty and reliability. Second, they have to provide intelligible evidence that they are trustworthy, enabling others to judge intelligently where they should place or refuse their trust. In this era of “AATMA-NIRBHAR BHARAT” (आत्मनिर्भर भारत), it is very important to become trustworthy on the parameters of Credence. And yes then you won’t need to advertise as your trustworthiness of Credence would be spoken up by others. Credence Acoustics and False Ceiling, an Indian company manufacturing its products in India for the globe, is carrying the name of Credence and its buyers have the certitude in them regarding quality and other trust parameters. Complying with the literal definition of its name ‘Credence’, the company has always taken steps to stand on the trustworthy parameters and thus has always surged ahead on the path of their journey. Delivering unparallel products to the nation has made the brand the most trusted brand in the field of acoustics and false ceiling. It would be unfair with the company to say that Credence has created the विश्वास in the hearts of its customers while actually they have earned this credence by their products, their services and above all by the word of mouths. Credence has left no stone unturned in earning this reputation and its enthusiastic team has accommodated the trustworthy parameters in their mind and heart to earn the credence of their customers.
